WiFi Extender Ex6200 AC1200

Hi
Does anyone know if the Netgear WiFi Extender EX6200 AC1200 can be powered by a USB battery pack?
What exactly is the power requirement to turn it on?
Does it need to be plugged into a wall (AC 120v) or is there a portable power solution?

    According to the manual, the included AC adapter supplies 12V up to 2.5A.  If your battery pack can provide that voltage and current at the right polarity, then it should work.  Most USB battery packs, however, supply 5V.
