Wifi Extender EX7500
Hi Guys,
Firstly sorry if I am in the wrong area for this subject. I have bought an extender to cover poor areas within my house. After reading many reviews I opted for the EX7500 for performance but also ease of setup. I thought I had set it up correctly and had all 5 led showing solid blue. However, many of my devices wouldn't connect to the internet even they showed full sinal strength.
I went to mywifiext.net, but it keeps saying that I am not connected to the wifi extenders network. I also mentions that I have to select my router and extender to use the same SSID. I am not technical and have no idea what any of this means.
I tried contacting Netgear customer service and opted for a live chat as I am in the UK. This was hopeless as although y questions were delivered and read, no one ever replied!!
I know I have asked a lot, but this suppose to be simple device is proving a nightmare. Any help would be appreciated.

SSID is the technical term for "network name". That's the name that you see when you look for wireless networks in your devices.
When you first set up the EX7500, it will use a network name of NETGEAR_EXT. Are you seeing a name like that when you look for wifi networks?
