Does factory reset also reset the ID and password to original defaults? I've finally managed to connect my extender to my network using the NETGEAR Genie but it's created a password that is some 30 ...
Yes a factory reset restores the default configuration.
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered up. the lights should change/blink once you've held reset long enough.
