Wifi Extender router light won't turn on

I was having some slow internet speed issues and unplugged my wifi ex and now the router light will not turn on no matter what I do, I cannot go to mywifiext link because when I connect to the NETGEAR_EXT it says I cannot open the page because the server isn't responding, it is on it's most recent version. Please help.

    Have you tried a simple factory reset on the extender? 

    Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on. 

    then follow the install guide
