WiFi Extender won't accept same password as router
We have successfully connected the WiFi extender to the Plusnet Technicolour Router TG582n several times but every time we put in the password for the router to connect to the extender from a device ...
did you set it up via wps? if so try setting is up using the installation wizard. The TG582n is a bit older of a device (2011) and might have wps coded different.
what security method is the TG582n using?
