wifi extender
why is it that when i run a speed test on my phone while sitting right next to the extender i get 60 mbps download but i plug the extender into my computer with a cat 6 cable most of the time the test cant even be completed becacuse its so bad?
i have the extender sitting right on top of my computer plugged in with a 14 foot cat 6 cable. wifi from extender is great actually very fast but not when plugged into the extender with a hard wire.
can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Check the LAN cable between the EX and PC. Ensure it's of good quality. Swap out to test.
What is the Mfr and model# of the main host router the EX is connected too?
Are you sure your iphone is connected to the EX when speed testing?
What FW is loaded on the EX?
the LAN cable is brand new i tried a on older one i had laying around same thing. the main host router is the one that you get from xfinity and my phone is connected to the EX for sure the firmware is V1.0.1.78_1.0.140 should be the latest out
Do you have a different PC to test with to compare?
