what router are you connecting to?
firmware on the extender?
Did you set it up using wps or using the installation assistant?

Hi the Router is Az-tech which is provided by the service provider. The extender firmware is the latest on the Netgear support web .36. The setup was via the Nighthawk app and mywifiext with the pc tethered to the extender. Switched between both multiple times. Also checked the router is not bridged’ mode.

Some routers are locked down or designed for mesh and need certain seetings changed/disabled to function with extenders. Its why we ask for the router when troubleshooting. AZ-Tech is like telling a mechanic when he asks for car model that its a Ford. They make many different models and each is different.
