Thanks for the reply mate, its the latest firmware (v1.0.3.30)
I've reset it a few times and there hasn't been any improvements. Been speaking to vodafone support but they've been hopeless.
I feel that its a setting that needs to be made from the vodafone modem to allow the internet to stop dropping out.

Its branded under Vodafone and is their "Hub 2.0". i believe it could be made by Hwawei as I had their first model hub and that had Hwawei somewhere in the packaging whereas this one didn't.

If you look on the vodafone forums, you see a ton of issues trying to use extenders with the vodafone routers. I haven't seen a good method that allows them to connect other than hardwiring in an extender and using it access point mode.

Wish there was a way to make it work, the wifi signal is so crap from the vodafone router
