What firmware are you running?
My extenders have all connected back up fine whenever I reboot the router. so I'm not sure why yours isn't.
I've seen of someone rigging a smart switch that auto reboots whenever it looses access to the internet so it'd reboot their modem/router.
Is your device rebooting because of a power issue or shoddy firmware with the isp? If its a power issue, you could try a UPS/backup power supply.

Hi - thanks for your reply.
I'm running V1.0.0.48_1.0.30 which it says is the latest available firmware. I can't find any setting which would allow this behaviour to be enabled/disabled so somewhat at a loss!
In terms of my broadband router, it is being restarted manually by me - every evening I have a total loss of network connectivity and it only comes back when I power cycle the router. I suspect something is causing it to crash but still trying to diagnose that one...

Potentially it could be an issue with your isp router not handing out a new ip address/renewing the one that it had.
I'd get your router situation fixed first and then see if it fixes the extender issue.
