Wifi Range Extender Recommendation?

I have a Virgin Media H3 hub and it does not have enough power to give me adequate wifi signal upstairs  and I wanted a range extender that plugs into a wall socket with impossibly a single ethernet port( although not necessary) but reliability and signal strength is a must for me. I would like something that is FAST and can give me something like AC750-AC2200 speeds if possible. My only problem is that I want to have the capability of renaming the both SSID that is broadcast by my main router and the repeater to the same SSID NAME so that devices get seamless Internet transition when going from upstairs to downstairs. I wanted to buy the Netgear EX6150 but unfortunately from the comments in the amazon section it would appear its not possible to rename the SSID. Could someone recommend me a Netgear Range extender that has this functionality please. I cant seem to find this information on netgear websites very easily.
