WiFi Range Extenders with PoE
Good Morning all... I'm looking to set up in an old-old house WiFi ceiling extenders(connected to CAT6 w/PoE switch) that has PoE power. I only find AP's. I want to extended the existing WiFi netwo...
But! will the Access Point 'extend' the router/WiFi network or will it create it's own?
Depends on what ones you use and how you do it.
the insight line of access points have a mesh function with other insight devices.
But not with consumer routers/extenders.
but you're kind of caught because you're wanting it ran with POE.
