WiFi USB Adapter randomly disconnecting

So I just bought this WiFi adapter two days ago. However I just noticed that when I was in a game it would randomly disconnect me and this happened twice. And then it happened a little while ago as I was browsing the web. The driver is up to date and the PC is brand new as I just built it myself. The router/modem is through my ISP which is RCN. I am running Windows 10 and everything is all updated. I am in an appartment so the range isn't that far. When I run a speed test I get about 30Mbps Download and about 17Mbps Upload.
