Wifi6 router (AX8) compatable with tri-band range extender (EX7000)?

I recently bought a new wifi 6 enabled router because I dont often buy or consider new routers and wanted to set myself up for the future and replace my current 2012 netgear router. Since most of my devices other than our new iphones cannot utilize the new standard, I want to buy a cheaper tri-band ac mesh extender for the rest of the house devices.

(Note* - I want to buy AC mesh extender (EX7000) as a cheaper alternative to new wifi 6 extenders available)

Questions:

- Does Nighthawk AX8 support tri-band (2.4/5a/5b Hz) AC technology plus new wifi 6 standard (6Hz)?

- Will the new Nighthawk AX8 router support EX7000 mesh AC wifi extender including features such as seamless mesh and tri-band technology?

Thank you for your time,

LukasL

    Questions:

    - Does Nighthawk AX8 support tri-band (2.4/5a/5b Hz) AC technology plus new wifi 6 standard (6Hz)?-----No, the RAX80 is a dual band and doesn't integrate the 6ghz. If you want tri-band, you need to upgrade to the RAX200.

    - Will the new Nighthawk AX8 router support EX7000 mesh AC wifi extender including features such as seamless mesh and tri-band technology?-----The mesh setup from the EX7000 will work fine with the RAX80. I've tested the EX8000 with the RAX200 and it worked fine.
