On both the router and the extender?
You can log into the extender and check its wireless security settings.
any other device giving you the notice?

plemans, so I got kinda distracted on a few other things but regular dropouts in the last few days has reminded me of this issue. Apart from this semi-silent issue it has been rock solid until just recently.
I also have since discovered its a EX7500 with Firmware V1.0.0.52_1.0.68
As for the security settings in the extender, I cannot see any reference to Wep, wpa, wpa2 as one sees in the route documentation (https://kb.netgear.com/24096/How-do-I-change-the-WPA-settings-on-my-Nighthawk-router)
The two Lenovo Win 10 machines show the same error on each. One 2012 model and the other a 2018 model.
Appreciate any other insight you can give.
