Windows 10 has a method to connect to WiFi using a feature called WiFi Protected Setup (WPS)

The WPS button on the EX6110 is shown on the side on page 1:

This WiFi Extender is enabling you to connect to the primary WiFi system in the house and was probably installed because the signal from the primary WiFi system is not very good where this computer is located. Here is a link to the User Guide:

- alxander_2222Feb 04, 2025AspirantI know I can connect to the WiFi pressing WPS button but that’s works for THE 2GEXT for example I have two networks “netgear_2GEXT”,
“Netgear_5GEXT” But the 5GEXT gives better WiFi strength than the 2GEXT but, “NETGEAR_5GEXT” doesn’t appear on connections on my pc networks, only NETGEAR2_GEXT. So I don’t know if this a window 10 problem or it’s the hidden network- CrimpOnFeb 04, 2025Guru - Experienced User
Correct. The WPS button works only when the WiFi device can detect the network. If the Windows 10 computer WiFi control panel does not display this network as a choice, then "something is seriously wrong." These would seem to be questions for your brother.
