Wired extender for x10 r9000 ad7200
I have been searching the forum and haven’t found what I need - looking for a wired extender for my new x10 r9000, preferably that doesn’t appear as a second and third independent network. The house is prewired and prefer wired to mesh. Netgear’s extender descriptions aren’t helpful.
Basically want a wired extender that works like a mesh extender. Maybe I am too 2010?
Or am I missing the point...I just assume that wired is better than wireless mesh given the direct Ethernet connection. And maybe even a bit cheaper?

Wired backhaul is better in my testing and experience.
But the problem is that netgear doesn't sell a wired mesh extender/access point. It sells plenty of mesh extenders but the mesh feature only works when they're running in wireless extender mode.
The Orbi has the options of a wired or wireless backhaul. but that'd mean adding it to your network and either replacing the X10 or using it as primary router with orbi running as access points.
