Jun 28, 2014I would start from scratch.
Press and hold reset until power led flashes, then use default credentials to access router setup and change SSID, enter a Passphrase after checking to be sure you select security setting which all your clients can use.
The public network is default WINDOWS FIREWALL settings when it detects a new connection, just change it to home in windows.
