Wireless repeating
I have a large area to provide wireless access.. I'm using a WNDR4000 in the basement & 3 WNDR 3400v2 & 1 WNDR 3700v2. I was able to setup the 3700 as a repeater using the 4000 as a base station. When I setup the other routers as repeaters they are connected to the network but have no wireless service. They are connected to the network when I connect to the ethernet ports on the routers. But they are NOT connected by ethernet cable.
The 4000 & 3700 are NOT coonnected via ethernet cable either.
Can the 3400's act as repeaters? If so please advise what is wrong.
Should I connect via ethernet to ports on the 3400s AND the 3700. This is feasible as electricians have installed ethernet throughout the house.
