Hi, I'm looking for a AP which can attached to existing LAN, and a repeater (or extender or bridge?) to connect to AP at about 50 meter distance. AP and repeater can directly facing each other, but...

    Yes, IP broadcasts will traverse across separate SSIDs that are in the same IP subnet.

Thanks for you reply.

I have go through the document for the the extenders, but there is not technical specfication related to broadcast.

And unfortunately same electrical circuit is not an option.

 

To be more specific, If i buy 2

AC1200-WiFi Range Extender Model: EX6150

Use 1 as AP and another one as an extender, connected them use wireless, and config different SSID for them

Question: is PCs connect to different SSID able to transfer broadcast message?
