WN1000RP – N150 Iphone doesn’t connect
Network is set up and the mac can connect, however when I try to connect on iPhone it buffers indefinitely.
The wn1000rp is a very slow/old wifi booster.
If you look at the reviews from it 11 year ago when it was released, it wasn't that fast at that time either.
It might be time to upgrade the extender to something with a bit more performance.

So many wifi routers out there with so many different capabilities I just wanted something cheap and easy.
No chance of getting this one fixed for iPhones then?scammed? No.
But you bought something without knowing what you bought.
You bought a super cheap/old/poor performing extender.
It was released over a decade ago.
Expecting the same performance from gear a decade old isn't realistic.
I'd look at buying something dual band from a newer generation.
