WN2000RPT - Internet Access Keeps Dropping

I am using a WNR3500L router (using WPA2-PSK [AES]) and the WN2000RPT extender. What I am noticing is that the WN2000RPT is getting DHCP requests from the router for devices connected to the extender, but the router is not logging the IP addresses as in use under the Attached Devices page. I'm wondering if that can be causing a conflict? Right now I am making sure that my DVR and DVD player are assigned static addresses from the router. I am seeing that the router is providing the fixed IP addresses to the DVR and DVD player. I'll see if this helps.
