Just spent a hour on the phone with net gear...they had me hard wire my laptop to my extender and bring up the manager (mywifiext.net) wireless settings, had me put a "R" at the end of my EXT then changed the security from WPA2 to WPA(TSK) i believe it was then hit apply, let it update, see if your wifi shows your new extender network...unplug cable connect to new extender network, click ive already connected to network log out and close it. See how long this one works!
