WN2000RPT - Internet Access Keeps Dropping

I have the same issue and its a joke. I found this thread from Googling.
Serious Netcomm. This issues has been around for a while and my Extender is decreasing in value and I will be buying another brand if this is not fixed and recommend to everyone not to buy Netcomm products.
I have 2 issues.
1) The drop outs as above
2) The SSID disappears for the "Australia" region. I can see my other routers and my neighbours and adjusting it too another region allows me to see my own however this prevents my interenet to connect.
I wish a fix is available as I use to love this router.
