WN2000RPT Connection Problems.....

I spent a week dealing with this same issue. I finally got an 0800 number for support. They were great!
The mistake I was making was in the screen where you are asked for your existing network security key. There is a box labelled pass-phrase with a blue 'generate' box to the right of it. I was putting my routers WEP key into that box. The correct place is the #1 box beneath that (there are four in the list) the pass phrase box should be blank. Something like this from memory.....
Blah blah cant remember exact wording
Enter your routers pass-phrase or key
|Leave this box blank| |generate|
(1) (enter your router password here)
(2) _________________________________
(3) _________________________________
(4) _________________________________
Hope that helps, fixed mine instantly. I now have 4 bars in all the areas I needed.
