I ran a support case thru' Netgear support and they were very helpful and provided me with a debugging image for the WN2000RPT.
In the end the issue turned out to be a problem with my WNDR4000 router, and since upgrading to 10.0.0.82_8.0.71 on that I haven't had any problems.
