WN2000RPTv2-WiFi Range Extender

I hope I am doing this right. I have very little experience with forums. How do I find out what channel my repeater is on? Does it have to be on a different channel from my WNR1000v2 router/Wireles...

http://www.mywifiext.net is for extender. Login the extender and look

Routerlogin.net is for router only.
