Been having exactly the same problem with WN3000RP.
Firstly sorry I can't be of more help, I have tried everything.
I did hear somewhere that it may be to do with the wireless extender changing the IP address of the xbox 360 console and if you look at the IP address when your connected directly to the router, it will be different from when your connected to the extender. This didn't help me because i dont see a way to change that.
The only way to solve it for me, was to connect directly to the main router and not the extender. Which isnt really an option for me.
If anyone can offer any advice apart from 'throw away the extender', it would be greatly appreciated :)
