WN200rpt printer problem
I want to use a wn2000rpt in my network. Cable modem to a Linksys wrtg54 wireless router, then to get to my office I need the Netgear wn2000rpt. I can't see any network printers that are wired to the Linksys router, I have internet connection. My wireless laptop gives me two networks. my wireless from my Linksys and netgear_ext. My laptop can't find printer when on the netgear_ext. but if i move into the range of the Linksys network it has no problem printing to one of the printers. How do I get the laptop, when connected to the netgear_ext network to find the printers?

- EkesterAspirantNo I can not. Doe's it have anything to do with using wpa?
- jmizoguchiVirtuosoShould not cause the issues
- EkesterAspirantLinksys firewall?
- jmizoguchiVirtuosoFirewall does not cause LAN side failure.
- EkesterAspirantSounds as if dmm who posted wn2000rpt won't share PC's on a different network is kind of the same problem I'm experencing.
- jmizoguchiVirtuosolook up the IP of the device behind the extender... you will compare to apple to apple.
- EkesterAspirantNot sure what you mean? I can't ping or see the printer when I'm on the extender. I gave the printer a static IP of 192.168.1.149. I have no problems when using the wireless lan from the router.
- jmizoguchiVirtuosoIf all device 192.168.1.x then should be fine including device behind the extender which you thing it is not on same ip.
