WN3000RP - so close but no cigar
I can't quite get this thing working, I get "can't connect to the internet".
Here's my setup:
Router WNDR3400
Router -> wireless -> PC
Router -> wireless -> WN3000RP -> wireless -> iPad
Via the PC I can look at the router and see the mac addy of the WN3000RP on it's connected to page.
Via the PC I can also access the WN3000RP and see the mac addy of the iPad on it's connected to page.
The iPad shows connected but can't get to the internet.
The iPad also won't connect to the WN3000RP via www.mywifiext.net.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

- EmilGNoviceI have mac address filtering turned off on the router for now.
- jmizoguchiVirtuosotry using public DNS on iPad and see
- EmilGNoviceNo luck, tried google 8.8.8.4 and 8.8.4.4.
I even tried the my.google.com addy 209.191.108.146.
I'm thinking it's something in the router blocking it but can't figure out what else.
Guess I need to start disabling stuff till it works then figure out how to make it right. - jmizoguchiVirtuosoare you using WPA2 encryption on main router?
- EmilGNoviceYes i am..........
- EmilGNoviceI even turned on DMZ on the addy the extender is on 10.0.0.5, as I understand it should let everything through.
I'm starting to think it's in the extender. - jmizoguchiVirtuosoDMZ will do nothing in this case for extender

Thanks, I realized that when the router changed the extender address to 10.0.0.6. - jmizoguchiVirtuosoextender should remain the same as our primary LAN subnet
- EmilGNoviceIf I understand correctly I have IP addresses 10.0.0.2 to 10.0.0.15 allocated for use. The extender is on 10.0.0.5.
Thanks for helping a networking newbe.
