Change the Pi to not use N-only mode.  It's incompatible with legacy b/g/n mode.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply. My understanding is that this Raspberry PI is "N" only.

    Do you see a repeater model at NetGear that would be compatible with this scenario ? I thought that buying this version which is B/G/N would be long term investment, but it seem that it is not the case ;-(

      Are you sure?  It's very odd for a Pi to be "N" only.

       

      I don't think any Netgear repeater will work.  What might work is to use a router that supports DD-WRT and configure it to operate as a repeater.  DD-WRT supports "N" only modes.
