WN3000RP and XBox NAT Error

We have our Xbox connected to the WN3000RP, as there's no signal to the xbox location from our modem/router (using a Verizon Homefusion router). I get a great connection from the Xbox to the 3000. My problem is that I continue to get a NAT error (says we are set to moderate) and we usually can't play Live or chat with other Xbox users. I went into my Verizon router configurations and tried port forwarding but then realized since the Xbox is connected to the 3000, that that wouldn't work. I tried changing the security level on the router to minimum and reset all the routers but I still get the NAT error. The error message on the router log says "Blocked- NAT Error: No free NAT IP". Any advice on how to configure this with my 3000RP would be greatly appreciated!

  • After literally hours of searching online, I found someone explaining that it's easiest to enable the XBox as a DMZ host. It's working now, however, not sure that this is the safest method. Would still love info if anyone knows a better way. Thanks!
