WN3000RP speed rate?
My Current setup is a Netgear WNDR4000 for the main router and the WN3000RP as the extender. I have everything setup and working but my issue is speed. When connected directly to my main router within good range my internet speeds are 55mbps/10mbps. When connected to the WN3000RP my speed is 25mbps/10mbps. I notice when logged into the setting of the extender the link speed is 130 and wireless mode is 145mbps. With the WNDR4000 I can change the wireless mode speed to like 145mbps and 300mbps. I have it set at 300mbps. Since the extender is rated for 300mbps is there to change mode to 300mbps?

You should see around around a 50% loss in wireless throughput, connected to an extender.
EDIT: SmallNetBuilder test results WN3000RP. The best way to extend a wireless network is purchasing a router that has Access Point mode, ethernet connected back to your Base router.
