WN3000RP Won't Finish Wizard
I got the WN3000RP today. I came home, plugged it in, followed all the steps then hit a snag. The wizard gets through most of the steps. It created a new network, renamed it to my SSID_EXT and ma...
I was trying to use it with a Linksys WRT54GL here. I spoke to front line support as well as second tier support and supervisors. After like three hours of troubleshooting they finally came to the conclusion that it must be a defective unit.
So I took it back and got another one. I brought it home and it did the exact same thing the first one did. It was returned the next day. I'm not trying a third time.
Apparently it just doesn't play well with certain routers.
It's really a shame too because in the part of the house I needed it in it tripled the signal strength of what the router provides from the opposite side of the house.
I'm gonna try some signal boosting antennas next I think and see how that goes.
