WN3000RPv3 blinking green light

I updated to the recent firmware and as soon as the decide was shut off - when turning on i get this problem.

I know that this has been dealt with for windows users but not Mac users. I have a blinking green led light. I have tried to flash the thing. However - for mac users there are security resitrictions that limit my ability to flash via ftp. Is there another way or is this thing garbage?
