WN3000RPv3 Firm Ware update
I was intending to update the firmware on my WN3000RPv3 extender which is presently V1.0.2.70 to the latest which is apparently V1.0.2.100 but from the Netgear genie Firmware Update list I clicked on...

I am using the extender in extender mode. What I meant by correct address was mywifiext. This thread won't let me add .net because it won't let me save it if it includes an internet address. I indicated previously that the IP address assigned to the extender by my gateway is 10.0.0.38. Is that what you are asking for in your last paragraph?

Strange. It worked here.
You could always use a wired connection to the WN3000RPv3 and see if you can update the firmware in that way.

What happens when you try that in a different browser?

At this point I am going to admit defeat in trying to connect to and update the extender. It works so I will continue to use it with its current firmware version until it no longer functions. Thanks for your suggestions and time spent. I appreciate it very much.
