WN3000RPv3 wifi range extender router light not lighting up
My extender (which I have had for a few years) stopped working (has happened previously). It has always been an ordeal to get working again but this time I cannot figure what is wrong. I have done a factory reset and attempted to install new but the only light that somes on is the power light, no router LED light. I am very close to my ASUS router, using my pc. It does not show on my routers web page either.

so you've tried a reset of the device and all you can get to come on is the power light? the firmware might have been corrupted or had other issues. You could try recovery using a tftp procedure and see if that'd rescue it. Its not always going to fix the problem but its worth a shot.
