I just bought one of these for our home, for Christmas. After reading all these posts, I'm beginning to wonder whether or not I should take it back before I use it.
It cost double what some others cost but it looked like the one that had good range for our big rambling house. I do not look forward to the disruption that a failure would cause, nor do I look forward to coughing up another $150.00 after the one year warranty is up.
What other unit would be comparable? That is in everyway besides this apparently unaddressed failure rate.
