WN802T is it dead???

I guess no one from Netgear moniters this post. It is now in it's 5th page and I have not even seen any moderators chime in. Even though moderators are typically not employees, at least on other forums, they would alert the powers that be when an issue arises worthy of their attention.
If I do not see any official assurances that I have not bought a pig in a poke, Netgear is going to get my WN802T firmly planted back in their lap.
My only hope is that this issue is an aberation. It seems most problem units listed here had serial numbers starting with 1K. Mine, starting with 1U, seems to be well beyond that range.
