WNCE2001 replacement/Upgrade
I used a WNCE2001 for a couple years, since 2018 to put my Yamaha receiver on network so I culd stream all my music,(itunes/Pandora etc) via airplay.
Yamaha has an ethernet connector on the back I plugged the WNCE2001 into. Worked awesome for awhile.
Yamaha makes a junk YWA-10 netowrk adaptor that never worked well so their gear is not an option...
Now the WNCE2001 is blinking green light indiating corrupt firmaware I cannot seem to load an update for. I tried the COMPLICATED instruction found in this community forum, dated 2012 and 2013 or so with no success. cannot seem to connect to WNCE2001.
Even bought another of same model on ebay last week to no avail. It also shows blinkng green light.
Sooo...what is a good, current technology option to get my reveiver back on the network?
Thanks in advance!

I would buy a range extender. A lot of them (not all) have ethernet output allowing you to connect a device to them. Plus then you can get a dual band for better throughput. It also allows you to use them as a range extender
