WNDAP350 UNRELIABLE as of firmware version 2.0.27 (August, 31 2011).
We are having ongoing problems with the WNDAP350. The 5GHz band goes deaf at random intervals and does not recover. All devices on the network must be manually reconnected to the WNDAP350 to continue functioning. When the AP goes deaf, not even the WNDAP350 can be accessed via wireless. Using hard-wire to connect while deaf enables access to the monitoring features which show nothing suspicious. We have downgraded to older Netgear AP's and verified everything with the network functions correctly. No other competing signals from other AP's.
Netgear Support has had us try three versions of the firmware (including a beta), latest being firmware being 2.0.27 and the reliability problems persist and had us try different channel settings. No resolution found yet as of August 31, 2011.
Any input on this issue would be appreciated.
