WNDR3400 N600... no speed

Question

Got this to increase speed from old WGR614 which was best at 54 mbps, got the new one up and running and it only shows 54 mbps too I am hooked to cable modem so I thought it would do at least 100   Any ideas on what I missing ??:confused:

My only guess is the desktop or laptop you're using maxes out @ 54.

Are you using a desktop or laptop? And is it built-in or a card ?
