WNDR3400 Router Cycles Between Identifying Network and Connecting
Hi all,
I have a WNDR3400 router, and it's begun acting very strangely.
(FYI, I have Windows 7 laptop and iPhone. Both are unable to connect to router.)
Basically, I have a strong signal to the router, full bars.
1) But when I try to connect, it will say "Identifying network".
2) Then, it will connect to "Unknown public network", but no internet access.
3) Then, a few seconds later, it will revert back to #1 (Identifying Network)
Repeat forever.
I tried a factory reset, and I was able to successfully connect to the router for a few minutes. But then it went back to its endless cycling.
Any ideas on what may be going on? Thanks!

Router is connected via ethernet cord to RCA broadband cable modem. An ethernet cord between my computer and cable modem works OK. - benkmannAspirantI resolved it. I reset everything a couple times and it finally worked. No idea what actually "clicked" but just thankful it did.
