WNDR3700 (v1?) Power Adapter
Moving my room around I turn off the WNDR3700 with the power button and unplug everything. After the room is reset, I plugged it back in and...... nothing.
Using the power adapter from the DSL modem, I plugged it in and the lights come on. Found an old WD Mybook power adapter and that works too. However the original power adapter has no power going into the device.
Netgear P/N: 332-10100-01
Input: 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 0.8A
Output: 12V 000 2.5A
The Adapter that I found that "works" (WD external HDD adapter)
Model No: WA-24C12U
Input: 100-240V ~50-60Hz 0.55A Max
Output: 12V --- 2A
How likely will I find another adapter that works? Will the WD Mybook adapter really damage the unit? I've had this router for awhile so it's been out of warranty. Just wanted to preserve the life since a new router is quite expensive. Thanks everyone.
