Thanks for the help jmizoguchi. I actually cannot ping the router 192.168.1.1 nor the DNS address which is 208.67.222.222/220 - I can ping the WDR3700 and the Bridge itself as well as any devices physically connected to the WNDR3700. Sometimes I may get a reply back from the router 192.168.1.1 which may explain why I am able to get an IP address but it is not responding. Am I missing some routing configuration somewhere that needs to be simply setup? Just FYI, the WNDR3700 is connected to the router via one of the four LAN ports that go into one of the 4 LAN ports on the router.
