Sorry, I don't fully understand the question. I just simply used the Netgear utility CD tool to configure the IP address, subnet mask, SSID information, security etc. on the WNHDE111.
Not sure I follow the Mac address between both units. Can you please expand on this? I have also tried using the add WPS client mode (on the WNDR3700) and specify the PIN from the bridge and it tries to connect and eventually times out after several minutes...
I have now upgraded my WNDR3700 to the latest firmware of 1.0.16.98NA but not any better. I have also disabled the security (from WPA2 to none) but still no joy. I sometimes get a reply from the router (192.168.1.1) but it is very unstable and intermittent... however, I can ping the Bridge, the WNDR3700 and any PC/device physically attached to the WNDR3700 just fine from my PC connected to the WNHDE111.
Do I simply have a faulty bridge at this point or am I missing something somewhere? :(
