AC1200 not able to reset and can't remember security questions
I cannot reset to factory using the reset button. Does anyone know of another way to do it? I need to check settings.

You can do this from the browser graphical user interface (GUI). But if you cannot get in your are stuck.
Which Netgear device do you own?
AC1200 is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with an AC tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the model number.
