AC1750, Model R6400v2 Not compatible with Spectrum Gig Plan?
I purchased this router (R6400v2) back in 2021 when I had Spectrum's 500mbps plan, it worked great the entire time. Fast forward to April of this year, I moved into a new house and decided to upgrade...

The 6400 series is of a older generation. Though has 1Gb WAN and LAN ports, the CPU may not be able to actually perform at 1Gb WAN to LAN thruput speeds. The router can connect to any ISP modem or ONT and you'll get internet servcies. Just may not see anything near 900Mpbs to a ethernet connected PC. WiFi will max out at anywhere from 300-500Mpbs over 5Ghz. Won't see anything much past that.
If you want to see near 1gb, you'll need to find something newer generation, RAX series would be a good place to start. If you don't mind someting used, find something used for cheap on places like amazon, ebay or shopgoodwill. I've found good used systems for cheap and works well.

Wow, thank you for the speedy reply! This whole time it's just been sitting unused, I guess all I needed was the reassurance it would work so I factory reset it and it's up and running now. You are correct, the speeds I'm getting are lackluster to say the least. I guess I'll be upgrading my router in the near future to fully take advantage of what I'm paying for.
Thank you so much!
