ac750 "mywifi" does not connect to extender

Hi, we have had this AC750 (with no antennas) for about 6 mos. I lost the accompanying CD. It initially worked on spec for most of time. In the last 2 mos, it has lost its access to the local (in home) network. I have the little quickstart flyer & followed its instructions, no luck. When I type in the link [link post forbidden] to go to the wifi extender online web page, the extender cannot be found. When the extender was working, the webpage to set up the extender did appear. I may have accidentally not connected that way when the setup web page last appeared, but I was setting up windows11 & had other chores. When the extender did appear, in w10 computer, it appeared with the 2g & 5g names & the mac address was in the router's list. But the "manage known networks" control panel shows the extender names, and nothing else to input. Resetting does no good. Advice? Thanks.

AC750 is not a unique Netgear model number. Many devices come with the AC tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and others, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.

Look at the label on the device for the Model. And, if there is one, include the "V" bit to show the hardware version. If there is no V number, then you have V1.

AC750 will be an old device. It will not be a Nighthawk model.

Manuals are always a good place to start.

    Visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Look for the model number on the label on the device.

That page will also have any software, firmware and drivers for your device, if they exist.

You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
