Add splitter to WNDR4500v2 ??
We have an ethernet cable that runs from the main house to a detached office to provide network to the office.
We have a guest house on the other side of the detached office. We want to get an ethernet line out to the guest house from the office.
If I put a splitter in the office and then run a cable out to the guest house will that work?
I guess the question is - Can I add an ethernet splitter to the ethernet band on my WNDR4500v2?
The total disance is about 110 ft so I don't think that's a problem. I just don't know if I can add ethernet ports.

You don't want a splitter.
You want a switch. pick up a cheap 5 port gigabit switch. usually around $20. that'd work.
