After installing router my printer will no longer work
My HP OfficeJet 5255, which was running on WiFi, stopped working when I switched my Xfinity router for the N600 WiFi Cable Modem Router. No matter what I do my computer cannot find my printer. I even plugged it in with a USB cord. What do I do? Thank you!

What is this router? N600 is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with that tag – which is ancient in terms of wifi technology – but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
The usual way to fix wifi printers is to find the printer maker's utility, the software that runs on your operating system. Then use that to connect the printer to the wifi.
The router just broadcasts wifi. It is then down to the printer to play ball. There isn't much that you can do on a router, beyond fixing it to a particular IP address, that affects what the printer gets up to.
Where possible, using the WPS feature can simplify things.
With a new router you will have to introduce it to your printer.
Installing HP wireless printer software | Wireless Printing Center | HP® United Kingdom
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
That page will also have any software, firmware and drivers for your device, if they exist.
Look for the model number on the label on the device.
You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
